This is one of the projects that used all of my services. I did a thorough content edit on the manuscript, as well as a complete cover design and interior layout. I also laid out an answer key that the author provides as an electronic download. The cover for this book definitely required an understanding of the message to create. The title and even the initial chapter headings seemed to expect a garden theme, but when I realized that the material was really about the condition and examination of the heart, I finally settled on this abstract cover that implies just that. The color scheme is one that appeals to the target audience of teen age girls. Is Your Fruit Sweet or Sour? was another referral project, and though it was a lot of work, I’m happy to have been involved with it.
